Guido Aalbers, producer, has uploaded this video showing Bertolf in the ICP studios in Brussels, Belgium recording the song "Patty Lane":
In this video, we see Bertolf singing vocals and playing guitar, dobro, mandolin.
Bertolf wrote (in response to my ignorant question!): We had 4 days for drums, then 2 times 7 days in ICP, and then 3 more weeks for singing and mixing. So it wasn't done as fast as you think ;-) Even 6 weeks for an album like Snakes & Ladders is really remarkable in this day and age.
