As mentioned in the "news" section, Bertolf reported HERE at Twitter that he planned to begin recording his third album on 14 November 2011 with Frans Hagenaars in his studio (set in the countryside of southeast France near Carpentras). vegastudio.pagespersoorange.fr/vega/recording/homefs.htmOne big draw of this particular studio is that it features the EMI TG 12345 mixing console. The Mk 1 version of this console was installed in Studio 2 at Abbey Road in December 1968 and used for the Abbey Road album sessions during 1969 ( Abbey Road album is considered by Bertolf to be the best sounding of the Beatles). It is the piece of equipment used to record such legendary tracks as the Beatles' "Come Together" and Pink Floyd's "The Great Gig in the Sky". Hagenaars has worked in the past with Bettie Serveert, Johan and Daryll Ann, and more recently with Alamo Race Track[a href=" and Moss"] and Moss[/a]. The best place to follow the news (if you speak Dutch) is Bertolf's own blog: www.bertolf.nl

On 11 November 2011, Bertolf posted the following at his blog (here translated from the Dutch by an American who doesn't know Dutch!):
The Sixteen
This coming Sunday, we drive to the studio in France. I'm really looking forward it!
The recordings will be filmed by Matthijs van der Ven, the person behind the site Onder Invloed. We will try to give you the occasional images from the studio show.
The titles of the fifteen songs that we will record in France (to stimulate your imagination a little, hopefully):
Burning Bushes Credo Ghost Here I Am How Does It Feel? I Know It Will Pass Mary Note to self (Untie) Her order to Other People Sing For Massachusetts The Madness Of Today Victory March Wall What Have You Got To Lose?
Eventually I want to put 11 or 12 of these 16 songs on the album.
