Bertolf is a musician who loves comedy and Kasper van Kooten is comedian who loves music. So they've decided to team up as an occasional duo called "Harde Noten" (Hard Nuts). They have recorded an album with 10 brand new songs that will be released in January 2013 and they will have a series of live performances starting in February 2013.
Early revelations of Harde Noten featured a skit that followed the top two TV "idol" contestants on a reality show (So You Think You've Got Talent), Rik and Quinten, through the contest to a dramatic tie and the momentous decision to form a duo. Harde Noten also released a seasonal video called "¡Hola! Sinterklaas".
