A few weeks ago, Bertolf announced that, after three solo albums, For Life (2009), Snakes and Ladders (2010) and Bertolf (2012), he has decided to put to an end his work as the solo artist, 'Bertolf.'
His next project will be as part of the band Color Reporters with singer/songwriter guitarist, Bas Wilberink. Bertolf and Bas have been busy over this past year writing songs for their project and the word is that they've made good progress toward a new album, possibly in 2013. As songwriters, there are many new possibilities opened up with the increased vocal range represented by Bertolf and Bas. Already we saw them work very well together in a live setting. Some examples include Paranoid Android and Here Comes the Sun, and And Your Bird Can Sing.
