Bertolf along with current bandmates Bauke Bakker and Gertjan van der Weerd, and Dirk Schreuders (who played in Panhandle Swing with Bertolf) formed Her Majesty with the goal of performing the album Abbey Road by the Beatles, start-to-finish in a live concert. Here are the final numbers of the performance: "Golden Slumbers", "Carry That Weight" and "The End". HQThis YouTube is a synthesis of two sources: the video uploaded by Esther and the audio from another Her Majesty concert given two weeks earlier. I'm so impressed with this band! Does anyone know who sings leads on "Here Comes The Sun" (heard at the website)? NOTE: I have deleted the vid, since I didn't do a good enough job on it (particularly the audio/video synchronisation) to do adequate justice to the outstanding work of the band. |
